This
stop-motion animation short was created by Austrian
filmmaker Thomas Stadlauer in
December 2005 for the Weta Collectibles KING KONG contest, which
was hosted by
Ain't It Cool News. The requirements of that contest were to
create a short
movie, between 10 seconds and 1 minute in length, featuring a
new monster that King Kong has to fight on Skull Island, and
the film had to be
